Manto de la Novia

One of the most beautiful places to stop on the way to Shell has always been the "Bridal Veil" or Monta de la Novia an amazing waterfall near us. There is a gondola ride for the more adventurous and plenty of things to photograph for the rest of us. 2 weeks ago after an especially hard rain there was a landslide at the waterfall which resulted in several deaths and over 100 people lost their homes. Unfortunaly we don't have any "before" pictures, but the first picture shows (in red) the part that was green before the slide. In the last picture there is an arrow that shows a roof that slid down off of somenes house. If you click on teh picture you can see it enlarged. Please pray for the families affected by this tragedy.

  1. I'm sending up prayers. Can I get on a mailing list for you? I'm just thinking I could post something at our church to generate more prayers & possibly donations. ~Karen Fisher Keith http://uncommoncharm.blogspot.com/
